Our Story
Mushrooms have always had the answer. We built a farm, learned the secrets, and found a way to bring it to you.
Adam Pfingsten spent nearly a decade in fitness and nutrition — not selling products, but actually sitting with people at their lowest point. Watching someone look at their body scan results and feel like the goal was impossible. Like they were too far behind to catch up.
His job was to find the root. Not the symptom. Not the quick fix. The actual root. And he was good at it.
But over time he kept bumping into the same wall. The supplements being sold weren't doing what they claimed. Fancy labels. Big promises. Ingredients that hit fast and left faster. Drugs dressed up as wellness.
"I was hooked on quick results myself — preworkouts, protein powders, everything that gave me the quick feeling of progress. Until it stopped working."
He saw the same pattern everywhere. People weren't failing because of effort. They were failing because of what they were being sold — and what was being left out of the conversation entirely.
The real problem wasn't willpower. It wasn't discipline. It was the root nobody was getting to.
"I wasn't looking for a new supplement. I was looking for something real. And mushrooms kept showing up every time I went deep enough."
What started as research turned into experimentation. Experimentation turned into growing. And growing turned into something Adam couldn't stop — not because it was a business plan, but because it was working.
He tried every species. Grown himself. Taken himself. Watched what happened. Lion's mane stood out immediately. The clarity came first. The fog lifted. Not like a stimulant — not a spike and a crash. Something quieter. Something that built.
Then came the chitin problem. The outer layer of every mushroom is wrapped in a hard-to-digest fiber. Whole mushrooms, even powders — most of what you consume passes right through. Adam had gut issues himself. He felt it. He had to understand why.
The answer was extraction. Liquid extract bypasses chitin entirely. It goes in, gets absorbed, and reaches your brain the way it's supposed to. That's why MycoDrops is a liquid. Not a trend. Not a gimmick. The only format that actually makes sense.
Spore Sanctuary is our grow operation in Norman, Oklahoma. Every batch of lion's mane in every bottle of MycoDrops Focus was grown here — by Adam, under conditions we control completely.
No middleman. No mystery source. No trusting a label you can't verify. We grow it, extract it, and bottle it. That's why we can promise what we promise.
Spore Sanctuary started as the original vision — grow fresh mushrooms, educate people on growing their own. That dream is still alive. But Sporely Labs came from a simpler truth: most people don't want to grow mushrooms. They want what mushrooms can do for them. Fast. Easy. Real.
"We grow it ourselves so we can promise what other brands can't. That's the whole point."
"We grow the same way mushrooms do. We need the right conditions. The right nutrients. The right environment. You don't grow mushrooms. Mushrooms grow you."
That's the belief behind everything at Sporely Labs. We're not selling you a shortcut. We're giving you a condition for growth.
Together we grow.
